The KOBOLD gearwheel flowmeter type KZA for viscous liquids is a cost-effective flowmeter. The measuring system of the flowmeter consists of a pair of gears, which - according to the principle of operation of a gear motor - is driven by a stream of liquid. The bearing of the measuring system, in types KZA-1810 and KZA-1865, is made as a radial and axial slide bearing. Type KZA-1816 has a ball bearing.
The sensor, separated from the measuring system, collects the number of revolutions of the gears through the housing walls without contact. Simple maintenance, low pressure loss, light weight and low weight
the noise level is one of the main characteristics of this flow meter.
